Actually Mono DID CLAIM that they stayed OUT of the beef. That is NOT TRUE.

https://faygoluvers.net/v5/forum/majik-ninja-entertainment/new-twiztid-interview-criticisms/#p229730

23:45
They get into talking about Eminem knowing them and being a fan of House of Krazees. And how Eminem told them he was about to sign with Dre. They claim that instead of Eminem having to pay to get on in shows, they just let him on when HOK did shows. Could be true. If they helped him, that makes them nice guys about the whole thing, I’d say. Eminem goes to the rap olympics and has someone tell Paul basically, I told you so. I’m signing with Dre.

24:50.
Paul says he was telling Eminem about the ICP beef, “Look we don’t have shit to do with this.” They asked ICP to not be involved apparently. “That was a fucked up situation.”

25:30
Interviewer restates, “You guys stayed out of it at the end of the day.” I hear a “Yep” and I don’t know if it’s from Jamie or Paul. But Jamie apparently left out how HE offered his services to Slim Anus and Nothing but a Bitch Thang. However it is true that PAUL HIMSELF did NOT participate in any of the diss tracks ICP made to Eminem. Paul then says “we were the ones who ended up getting a hold of Proof and them, trying to squash this crazy dumb shit. So Proof was with it. Everybody met up at a bowling alley and squashed it. Just like that.” Hmmm. Does anyone remember these videos like this that are allegedly Esham Smith’s words from years ago detailing his past disappointments with J and Psychopathic Records?  Esham claims HE helped squash the beef between ICP and Eminem.

Jamie and Paul both took the opportunity to trash Eminem outside of recorded diss songs. Case in point.

Ultimatums huh? Like refusing to play at The Gathering unless you got your masters?

I believe what Mono says in his video but no one is actually asking him the real questions on his live stream echo chamber.

I typically avoid these hour long streams, but I gave this one a shot.  Was only going to listen for a minute and watched the whole thing.  And I'll say this: check this one out.  He's not acting like an asshole at all, and he speaks directly on the drama and specific reasons that they left Psychopathic including things ICP did to them.

I'm not taking sides. Everything Paul said about The Black Rain, after party, in Spokane Washington was 100% true. J got pissed that Paul was dancing with a hot chick and they cancelled the rest of that tour. Psy. lost so much money!

I know his story is truthful, but he is leaving out the fact that twiztid (in the eyes of psychopathic) were untrustworthy at that point in time since they tried to jump ship during the green book era.

Unfortunately the xanax affected violent J during these times and made things up(in his head) due to his "trust problems".

When vj found weed,  his mind was clear headed, positive and focused. I feel that some shitty roadie got him into abusing pills,  or twiztid making an attempt to leave the label during green book made him go into a depression hole and start abusing pills.

What came first the pills or the trust issues?

Either way,  it's only one part of the story.  And if vj and mono could lose their egos for 10 minutes and talk it out and apologize for their mistakes, shit would turn around.  Vj needs to come to grips that pills affected his behavior and caused more problems that weren't to be made,  and mono needs to understand that vj was not himself and has evolved into a worse version of his past self all becuz no one talked about their "speculations" of eachother... Vj and mono are a two pussies who can't confront someone without resorting to childish/teenage measures. They need to put themselves in eachothers shoes and try to understand eachothers "speculations", gnome sayin.

He also mentioned in this stream that Shaggy also took a swing for no reason other than that J was swinging at Madrox.  If we're talking Black Rain era, that was right at the height of where Shaggy was perpetually drunk.

Okay. Do you wanna answer my hard hitting questions that no 17%er has been able to answer yet?

As for Twiztid "blackmailing" their masters out of ICP, again I disagree. Twiztid could have demanded a huge cash payment and hurt ICP financially even more. By only asking for a master, they are not putting a dint in ICP's wallet. Secondly, the reason Twiztid asked for the masters they did is because those were the most popular albums, and they had been out of print for YEARS. You could not get physical cds or even stream or download them for small pennies. This was due to failure in the offices of Psychopathic Records.  I buy vinyl, as you can tell by my name. I appreciate and love that Twiztid put their albums back out in physical format. I see no good reason for Twiztid to let their albums die on Psychopathic Records never to be resurrected or seen again in physical format just because ICP fucks up. As a collector of physical media THAT doesn't sit well with me! You can't tell me and expect me to believe that any Juggalo would tell ICP to not try to get any masters out of Island for a small price or even no price if they could do it - to just shut up and take that defeat! They wouldn't tell ICP to suck it up and not take a good deal when they could. So why does Twiztid have to let their albums die on a label that wasn't keeping them in print, but ICP would be welcomed to get their shit back from Island for a good price if they could? Why do Juggalos hold Twiztid to a different standard? Can anybody explain this without calling me a Twizzler and a dickrider and just give me good logical, philosophical arguments for a double standard?

Are you not watching the stream carefully? Mono talks about how they got dicked out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. You goddamn right they deserve their fuckin masters after they lost money, had too many ultimatums and ICP WASN'T PUTTING THEIR ALBUMS BACK INTO PRINT. Again, refer to my above questions. Why should Twiztid sit back and let their albums die on Psychopathic and not give them new life just because Violent J drops the fucking ball?

I know that the Rude Jude interview was very fast. So possibility that what I said was misconstrued because of the speed and you don't have the ability to go back and listen to it. But yeah I never said we never had anything to do with it. I said we didn't want anything to do with it.

He said they’re the first ones to leave and not go back, everyone else went back but stopped himself. I’m interested to know why he thinks the other artists went back. Oh well.

Its weird that icp showed them their dicks

There is nothing that revealing or monumental here.

Once again, J and Monoxide are both assholes and liars at times. Just like any of us.

I wasted time here. I'm an idiot.

"Props to Post Malone for this track..." that part woke me from the fugue state. Post Malone is not dope. I'm blushing.

They didn't have as big of a brand as Twiztid did to make it independently.

I never understood that either. In the FLH interview the only reason J could give why this was a huge deal was "labels NEVER give away their masters. That's something that a label just does not do". But why?
Psychopathic has always tried to front like they are different than mainstream labels. I remember when Boondox left (I believe for the 2nd time) and J kinda proudly said Boondox was able to just leave because they don't force their artists to stay via contract, like other labels do. They can just leave whenever they feel like it, because Psychopathic ain't like other labels. So if that's the image of Psychopathic that J wants to convey, why would "other labels just don't do that" be a justification for not wanting to give away masters..

The reason why labels don't give away their masters is because there is money to be made from them.

If Twiztid wanted to release those albums on MNE they could of paid Psychopathic for the license to print them up.

Just like Psychopathic had to pay DefJam for the Great Milenko and Jeckel Bros albums etc so they could release The First Six Boxset.

Psychopathic paid Twiztid up front to make those albums knowing full well the masters and rights to those songs would ultimately be owned by Psychopathic.

It's a real business, not a few kids making mixtapes in their Mum's house.

I mean yeah, obviously. But I guess asking for the "reason" was kinda misleading because of course they'd want to keep them because they might still make money off of them. More precisely, though, the point is, why were people acting so outraged over Twiztid trying to get their masters? Of course they would want their masters. And J didn't even say "I feel like playing a gig like the Gathering doesn't cover the price for a master" or anything, he seemed to state categorically "a label does not give away their masters". So again, why the outrage? Like vinyllover said, usually people applaud artists that have been able to get all the rights to their music (seeing as they created it), but in this case it's seen as some big betrayal.
